KAFCON is a community tournament. Use the site honestly, treat other people well, and follow the referees and the organising committee. The longer text below covers the legal details — please read it before you create an account.
These terms govern your use of kafcon.statotec.com and any related KAFCON tournament services run by Afro Entertainment. By creating an account or otherwise using the site, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the site.
The site is open to anyone 14 or older with a valid email or Google account. Tournament participation has additional eligibility: players must hold roots in the nation they represent and currently reside in South Korea. Eligibility decisions rest with the organising committee and are made case by case.
You’re responsible for keeping your password (or Google account) secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you spot unauthorised activity at hello@kafcon.statotec.com.
Give us real information. Falsifying names, eligibility documents, squads, or roles is grounds for removal from the tournament and closure of your account.
While using KAFCON you agree not to:
KAFCON is organised by Afro Entertainment. The organising committee makes the final call on eligibility, fixtures, scoring, awards, suspensions, and conduct. Referee decisions on the pitch stand for that match. Disputes go through the operations module (see /contact), or by email to hello@kafcon.statotec.com.
You keep ownership of news posts, comments, photos, and other content you submit. By submitting it, you grant KAFCON a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, display, and distribute it on this site and the official KAFCON social channels for the purpose of running and promoting the tournament.
You can withdraw individual posts at any time by deleting them yourself or by emailing us. Match data tied to public records (scorers, results, line-ups) stays published as tournament history.
The KAFCON name, logo, kente identity, design system, and the data we publish (fixtures, standings, history, written posts) are owned by KAFCON / Afro Entertainment or licensed to us. Sharing links is welcome and encouraged. Reproducing the site or its assets commercially needs written permission.
KAFCON match days are photographed and filmed for editorial and promotional use. By attending or participating you agree to be captured in match footage, group shots, and award photos that we may publish on this site, the news feed, and the official KAFCON social channels. If you want a specific image removed, email hello@kafcon.statotec.com and we’ll take it down within a reasonable timeframe.
KAFCON runs on a small stack of trusted providers — hosting, the database, sign-in, image storage, email. The full list, and what each provider sees, lives in the Privacy Policy. Their own terms apply to their part of the service.
You can delete your account at any time from /account, or by emailing us. We can suspend or close an account that violates these terms, the Code of Conduct, or applicable law — with notice where reasonable, and immediately when safety, security, or the tournament require it.
KAFCON is provided as-is and as-available. We don’t promise uninterrupted uptime — particularly during the tournament window, when load is highest. We make no warranty that the service will be error-free, secure beyond reasonable measures, or fit any specific requirement you may have.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, KAFCON, Afro Entertainment, and the organising committee are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, or profits arising from your use of the site.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law — for example, fraud or gross negligence.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be brought in the courts of Gyeonggi-do, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country says otherwise.
We may revise these terms. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top and announce material changes in the news feed. Continued use after a change means you accept the new version.
